REGISTRATION PROCESS:

The first step is to contact us to find a lesson day and time. Lesson days and times are determined over the phone or via email. Once we find an open time slot that will work for you, you’ll need to fill out the registration form via our registration page and make your first month’s payment online.  After the first month, payments can be made with cash or check.  Once your initial payment is received your time slot will be reserved and you will be emailed specific directions to our location. Registration, including payment must be completed 24 hours prior to your first lesson.

video CONFERENCE LESSONS:

In addition to private lessons in person we also offer lessons via SKYPE, Google or FaceTime! All you need is a webcam and a free Video Conference service. Video lessons can be purchased individually or by the month. Payment is due prior to each individual session. Payments made during the call will detract from the session time. Call or email to set up a session.

FEES:

Lesson fees are due prior to the beginning of the first lesson of each month.

Santa Barbara Location: Monthly Student Fees are $128.00 each month; this includes a weekly half-hour lesson.

Buellton Location: Monthly Student Fees are $100.00 each month; this includes a weekly half-hour lesson.

SKYPE: Monthly Student Fees are $100.00 each month; this includes a weekly half-hour lesson.

In order to reserve a time slot you will need to register (see above) and make an online payment prior to your first lesson via the online payment section of our website.  There is a processing fee of 5 dollars for all credit card transactions.  Lesson months are ONLY ever pro-rated when a new student registers in the middle of a month.  If you are not going to be able to make your lesson time for more than 1 week you will still be required to pay for those weeks in order to hold your time slot.  2 weeks notice is required to terminate lessons in order to avoid being charged for the entire next month.  All sales are final and non-refundable.

You may be wondering why lessons at Anvil Guitar are so affordable.  Based on my education and experience I could charge double what I do.  However I believe that music lessons should be affordable and accessible to everyone.  I work hard to keep the price of lessons down so anyone can experience the joy and benefits of learning an instrument.

REFERRAL DISCOUNTS:

1. Refer one student and you get $60 off your next month.
2. Discounts issued upon receipt of first full month’s payment from referee.

FLOATER LESSONS and CANCELLATIONS (Five week months):

In the occurrence of a 5 week month lessons will usually continue during the extra week.  Students accumulate these "floater lessons" and they are applied towards reschedules and make-ups.  All eligible missed lessons will be made up during these weeks.  48 hours prior notice is required for a missed lesson to be eligible for a make-up.  Students are not entitled to free floater lessons, they are offered as a courtesy on behalf of Anvil Guitar Instruction.
